Aloha Friday!
I am all hung up! I got a CD about 4 months ago and never really listened to it. I bought it for 1 song and hoping that I would like all the others but never really got into listing to it.
While on vacation I heard a new song a couple times on different radio stations. I just fell in love with this song. The funny thing was the first few times I heard it I didn't know who the song artist was. This was driving me crazy!
Then I figured it out and I got all excited because guess what, I have the song on CD. I own the CD with this great song.
Oh would you like to know who the mystery song and artist is?

Needless to say I am now wearing the heck out the entire CD and loving it.
So I want to know:
A: Do you buy a CD just for 1 song? Do you listen to all of it or focus just on that song?
B: What band, group or artist are you currently hung up on?
If you are curious here is a YouTube video of the song I am raving about. It is such a beautiful song and I find so many of the songs inspiring and they put me in a really good mood.

i can't pick just one band or artist that i'm hung up on! i'm just hung up on MUSIC period! lol
i don't buy CDs though. i use itunes so i can get either the whole album or just one or two songs. then i make my own mixed CDs for the car and for friends.
I used to buy CD's for just one song...but now, I just download the song I like!
I used to buy cds for one song all the time! I would hear a song on the radio that I liked, and then go buy the album. Sometimes the band would end up being a one-hit-wonder, and I could see why! :)
how funny that the song ended up on the cd that you already had! That worked out well!
I don't really buy cds anymore- I mostly just listen to music on the computer or the radio. I miss cds!
If I like a song I buy it on iTunes.
I do not have a favourite musical group/band.
I used to buy a CD just for one or two songs. But, since I got an ipod, I really don't buy that many CDs at all.

No, I just download the one song from iTunes. That's why I love iTunes!
Yes, normally I buy a CD for one song lol and Listen to it until I can't take it anymore.
Not anymore, we buy good songs one at a time. I have been very impressed with Taylor Swift songs. She's very talented. I listen to a wide range of music.
I try not to but have bought an entire CD just for one song. I like many different artists of Hawaiian music.
No, if i like just one song, I buy it online-well hubby does!
I don't buy CD's anymore because I use iTunes but when I was buying CD's, I definitely bought them for one song but always listened to the whole thing.

I have to admit that I have not bought a CD in forever. I usually just buy the MP3 of a song that I like if I do not want to buy the entire group of songs. No real band/singer that I am stuck on now. Lots of different favorites, plus tons of kids music playing here.
I just download the one song from iTunes and then upload to my iPod. I've done that many times.

I don't usually buy cd's anymore either, but use itunes. Although I did pick up the new DMB cd for the hubster for Father's Day. Only because we stopped in Starbucks and it was there at the register. He's always been a big DMB fan and so I snagged it on an impulse. I have to say, I love the CD. All of it is great. Reminds me of old DMB from "back in the day" lol.
In the past, I have definitely bought a CD for ONE song. I don't do that anymore now that you can download any song you want individually. I love Rihanna right now.

there's never only one song...it kind of depends on my mood.

I haven't bought a cd in a long time. I do collect U2 cds but that's about it. I mostly get my tunes online. Especially blip.fm or pandora.com.
I can't remember the last CD I bought! I usually just download songs!
I often buy cds for just one song, and then hope I like the rest of the CD. Two bands that I have done this with and been really happy are The Plain White Ts and Kate Voegele.

We by all our music online. I will buy a CD on occasion if I like many of the songs on the CD. I don't have a current song obsession but I really like it when the more recent Nickleback songs come on the radio.
I have bought a CD just for one song before. Usually I end up liking others too though.
I love that song too!! I usually buy it for just one song too though...but I'll preview the whole CD when I buy it by flipping through all the songs.

No I wouldn't. Thankfully, with iTunes I don't have to buy the whole album for one song! :-)
Yes, sometimes I buy a CD because of a particular song but nowadays I just download the song I like. I like a variety of artists.
I bought Beyonce's CD a few months back, for two songs. I figured I would really like the others too, since I have always liked her music. But, I haven't been able to listen to the rest of it. I just don't like them for some reason. I think next time I'll just buy the two I like off iTunes for my iPod and not waste 15 bucks on the whole CD. LOL
