Ladybug I am So Sorry

I am sitting here catching up on blogs and Thomas starts beating his train table with a toy hammer. He is beating it and beating it! Then he comes to me holding out his hand to give me something. My child has decided to beat an innocent little ladybug into a flat pancake.

So I ask him, did you smash the bug with your hammer. He just gives me this huge smile like, I took care of the problem.

I guess the ladybugs currently hanging out in my house need to take note that they are not allowed to crawl around on the train table.

LOL! Silly Ladybugs hanging out on the table! Don't mess with Thomas (either one)!

Well, I don't know if you should be happy or sad! :) Happy he's taking care of the bugs, but sad that he's taking care of the good kind!

Have a great day!

My daughter proudly announced that she had killed a spider. Squished it all by herself with her little brother's shoe. Unfortunately, it was the kind of spider we DON'T squish (yes, there is that type). Then she felt awful. Your little guy's lack of remorse is quite charming, actually. I can just imagine his huge spider. He must have been very proud of himself! Even though I do love lady bugs!

oh no! Haha! The good news is that now you can send him and his hammer to take care of the icky bugs in the house like spiders!
