A few random things that I have been doing here recently. First to catch everyone up, I have decided to leave my two half days of work as half days. I love these days and feel so good when I can make a lot happen.
I take my 1/2 day on Wednesday as a day for me. I leave Thomas at the sitters and when I get off at noon I go home and do what ever I feel needs to be done until 3:30 when I pick Luke up at school and then pick up Thomas. On Friday's I will pick Thomas up at noon and make that time just for me and him.
The past two weeks I have been clearing out lots stuff. Last week it was a couple bags of toys, stuffed animals and books that the boys just don't use anymore. I took them all to Goodwill and they rolled out one of those big basket things and I filled it up. This week I cleared out a big built in cabinet in my kitchen. It has been the collect all since we bought this house 8 years ago. I through 4 bags of trash away today.
Now I am praying that my husband doesn't look in this cabinet before the trash goes out on Friday. It is very empty now and he will want to know what happen to all the stuff. He is the type that will keep everything, I am the opposite and I get rid of everything. If he sees I threw stuff out he will be digging in the trash.
Now another funny! Remember my dream I wrote about last Friday that I had last week. Went to the Fair in my hometown on Friday with my kids. On Saturday I got on my Facebook and posted some of the photo's from our trip. I also saw that the person I had my dream about had posted about being at the fair on Friday also.
We never ran into each other but I thought it was pretty funny that I first had a dream and then we were that close in proximity to each other and didn't know it. It has been so long since we have seen each other I am not sure we would have recognized each other any.

About Me
- Nina
- Hi I am Nina! OK Nina is a nickname but I doubt you really care. I am 35 years old, married, two wonderful boys. Luke is my sweet gentile 6 year old and Thomas is my wild and crazy 2 year old. The two of the wear me out but I love everything about them. I hope you enjoy all our crazy adventures as much as we do.

7 Comments Welcome:
We are SO alike, LOL. My husband is also the pack-rat, and I'm also the person who throws everything away, haha. You should see the stuff he tries to keep in the garage, cuz he "might" need it someday!! I have to do secret cleaning at my house too, haha
That dream WAS crazy. Wow. I think things like that happen alot... I do that too, will be thinking of someone, so clear in my mind that I haven't seen in years and then shortly after bump into them. So wierd how that happens. =)
Sounds like you have been busy. I think that is great that you have created some time to get organized during the week!Good luck with the new schedule & getting the trash out:) (My husband actually went through the trash for a shirt of his I threw out once. It had holes!)Freaky about the dream...maybe you better start a Date nite with husband?
I think that is so funny about your husband. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get the trash out before he notices!
I hope you had a great time at the fair!!!
It is kind of strange to run into someone who was in a dream. But then, it's a surprisingly small world we live in!
So glad that you are able to keep your 1/2 days and some time for yourself :D
That's a crazy coincidence about your dream!
It's good to have something that you get to do and feel involved. I would like to work part time too.
Yay for you giving things to goodwill that you no longer need. Especially in these times, people do appreciate this.
Dreams - very interesting.
I'm sure purging all of that stuff felt so good!
You've been busy! I'm glad you stuck with what you wanted for work. It does feel so good to have a good chunk of time set aside to get stuff done... pretty hard to get the household management stuff done when the kids are underfoot!
I love it when I can throw stuff away. My hubby will leave containers with one more use in them and move onto the next container (shampoo, condiments etc). It drives me crazy! Use it up so we can throw it out!
