Our spring break week has begun. I have a million things I want to do this week. I am always trying to squeeze way more things into what reality will let me get done. One of my top priorities for this week is to find something fun for me and the boys to go do everyday. I have made a promise that I am not going to let my cleaning and organizing of the house dominate my week. So the objective is to put them first and then get the other stuff done after we have had some fun.

First up is the kids discovery museum. My mom is going with me today so that I have one adult per child. I just can't keep my hands on both of them in a place like this.

Also on my list of ideas of things to go do include: bumper bowling, a trip or maybe two to the park. Probably a different park each time just to change things up. After that I am not sure. Any suggestions? Remember I am trying to entertain a 2 and 7 year old.

Luke really wants to go see the new "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" movie. He has been reading a couple of the books and really wants to see the movie. I just can't take Thomas so not sure how to pull that one off.

Luke also wants to learn to ride his bike with out the training wheels. (Finally) So maybe we can take his bike somewhere this week and squeeze in some practice. Of course I need to get Thomas a bike because he will not be happy unless he can ride a bike also.

I am looking forward to this week and getting a lot done but something tells me it is going to fly by and I am going to be exhausted at the end of each day.

Oh and I started a new workout program two weeks ago (P90X) and have to find at least and hour everyday to work out.

What are your big goals for the week.

Just to get through the week! :) Ha ha just kidding. I don't have any ideas for your kiddos...I struggle with that a lot around here!

I am going to try to get some spring cleaning done this week and next before I go on vacation for two nights without Marlee!

Last week was my spring break and it sounds a lot like yours - lots of fun stuff planned. Let us know what you end up doing. All those ideas sound lots of fun. Parks are always lots of fun and cheap! Starting seedlings for the garden? Just a thought.

Enjoy your week with the boys.

The museum sounds like a lot of fun.

My 6th grader has been reading those books. He read one outloud to me. I don't think any of the characters have redeeming qualities but I must admit that they are entertaining. He liked the movie but I haven't seen it yet.

It's more challenging when you have kids that are different ages. And it is always challenging with one grown-up and more than one child. I always feel like I spend all my time in public places constantly counting my kids to make sure they are all there!

Good luck with the p90x; it is a great program!
