I was tagged by Pink Stinx, thanks Tammy! I always enjoy reading Tammy's blogs. Now I'm supposed to share 6 random things about me and pass the honor onto 6 other bloggy friends. I love all the blogs that I read and hate choosing. But first here are my six random things that most of you probably don't know about me.
1. I am a little ocd with the vacuum cleaner. I sweep my floors every day. I can't stand seeing dog hair on the floor or anything else for that matter.
2. I am a very nervous mother who is afraid of anything and everything that could happen to my kids. Because I am this way I really control what I let my kids do.
3. I love my Church that I go to. I became a born again Christian about 3 years ago and was baptized at that time. Church has been a little tough for me that last couple months with my youngest son. He makes it so difficult to go and listen. I have felt very out of touch and hopefully the tide will turn on this one soon.
4. I love chocolate and could eat it 24/7.
5. I am probably one of the biggest Lost fan's you will meet. I go crazy over this show and can't wait for it's return in January.
6. I know you all know I am a working mom and would rather be at home with my kids. What do I do everyday when I leave my kids at school and the sitter, well I go into my own office and manage our companies marketing. I do everything from advertising, catalogs, our website, and so on... Someday I would like to start my own business working out of my home doing these things for various companies who would hire me.
Now to choose 6 of my friends, well you all know that I love each and everyone of you and this is a hard choice. I tried not to pick anyone who I choose last time. Also please don't feel as though you have to play along. This is for fun and I understand if you don't want to do this.

2. Maggie at Life with Boys
3. Heather at The Extraordinary Ordinary
4. Scargosun at Scargosun
5. Melissa at Canyon craziness
6. I give this back to Tammy at Pink Stinx

Friday's Photo Finish Fiesta
Join in for Candid Carrie's Phriday's Photo Phinish Phiesta....
I love these photo’s of a cat I once had. His name is Buddy.
Buddy was a people cat who loved to be petted so much this was his begging position so that someone would reach down and rub his head. I have never seen a cat stand on their hind legs like he does.
Of course here was his favorite place to sleep in my house. I am not sure what was so cozy about the bathroom sink but he sure loved it.
Buddy moved to my mom’s house almost 6 years ago after I gave birth to my first son. I just couldn’t keep a cat that was 15 lbs around a baby that was 6 lbs. I still visit with Buddy and he has a good home. I would say Buddy was one of the most lovable cats I have ever known.

Aloha Friday #5
Play along at An Island Life for Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link at An Island Life. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
OK ladies I want to know what Hollywood hunk do you crush on?
I have a couple Hollywood hunks but the one I would say is my most favorite to watch and drool over is Mark Wahlberg. I just think he is too cute and I think I have watched every movie he has ever played in. My husband knows I crush on Mark and laughs every time he comes out with a new movie because he knows I am going to want to see it.

The Great Movies of the 90's

Last Saturday night I stayed up late watching Independence Day on TV. This was one of my favorite movies from the 90’s. I have found that I have many movies from the 90’s that were just fantastic movies and I could watch over and over again.
This got me thinking about all the movies I loved back in the 90’s and my list is huge. I know it is scary when I start thinking but sometimes I can’t help myself. Looking back at the 90’s we had so many great movies in so many different areas.
First we kicked off the 90’s with a great romantic comedy, Pretty Woman. I was in high school when that movie came out and that was just the best movie. Julia Roberts came out with several great movies after that but none as good as Pretty Woman.
We also had great blockbuster movies like Independence Day with Will Smith, Forest Gump with Tom Hanks, The Green Mile, Shaw Shank Redemption and so on.
Then there is Titanic, this will go down in history as my all time favorite love story. I saw that movie three times in the theater. Yes, you can call me crazy! This is the only movie I have ever seen in the theaters more than once. I actually paid three times just to watch that one again and again. Every time it is on TV I watch it because it draws me in and captivates me.
Who can forget the great comedies from Adam Sandler, Chris Farley and David Spade? I could sit and watch Tommy Boy over and over again. And only Adam Sandler could get away with making the stupid funny movies he made like Billy Madison , Happy Gilmore, and The Water Boy, heck the classic line “” is one that I will never forget. These are classic stupid humor movies with great comedians.
What about the scary movies like Scream? I watched all of those because they were just great providing a little bit of scary with some humor and lots of fun.
As for the movies today I can’t say I have a long list of favorites, heck I would be lucky to have a handful of great movies that have come out in the past 8 almost 9 years. I can’t decide if I should blame the movies or if my life has just changed so much with kids that I don’t find the time to really enjoy a good movie. It just seems like when I have watched a movie in the past few years I see it once and could care less if I ever watched it again. Yet all those great movies I listed above I will still watch repeats of when they come on TV. Why is that? Maybe I am holding on to my past life with out kids and those care free day’s when we frequented a movie theater regularly. I am now lucky to see a movie in the theater three times a year and those three usually equate to some form of a kids move we have taken my son to see.
Do you feel the same way I do or do you think the movies today are better than the 90’s?
What are some of your favorite movies from years past?
Pimple of the month club…
I am not just a member that’s right I am the president.
You are probably wondering what the heck I am rambling about now. Well I have very nice clear, clean skin except once a month. I get this one blazing big ugly red pimple on my chin just off to the side every frigen month. It is like an alarm clock shouting out to the entire world that yes people she is on her period. That’s right I have that perfectly timed pimple. I don’t get them any other time except when that time of the month comes around.
I want to first know why I am still getting them at all. I am in my thirties and shouldn’t be dealing with pimples any more that is what teenagers should be dealing with, not me. I thought when we got older these things went away. Obviously not because I am still blessed every month. Not only do I get them like clock work they are in almost the exact same place every month just switching from on side of my chin to the other. As if it isn’t bad enough dealing with my period at this time but now I am dealing with this ugly red blob on my chin. This drives me crazy!
I know this isn’t exactly the most pleasant topic for discussion but do any of you have any additional unpleasant events that occur around this wonderful time of the month?
